Barcelona plan to approach Almeria right-back ‘Puville’ vox888

Mundo Deportivo reported on Thursday that Barcelona are working to try and sign Spain 2024 Olympic gold medal-winning right-back Marc Puville from Almeria on a loan deal with an option to buy.  ( vox888 )

Barcelona are looking for a replacement for Joao Cancelo, who is unlikely to return to the club, with the Blaugrana working on a move for 21-year-old right-back Pubil from Almeria after failing to sign for Atalanta. 

Barcelona are reportedly set to sign Pubil on a one-year loan deal worth €5m with an option to make the deal permanent for €12m, so it will be up to Almeria to accept the offer. 

If the Blaugrana are successful in bringing in Puville, it could have implications for the future of 17-year-old defender Hector Fort, who could be forced to move to another club on loan.
