‘Diario Sport’ reported on Wednesday that Barcelona have not set a timeframe for the return of Pablo Martín Paez Gavira Gavi, although the 20-year-old midfielder is in the final stages of his recovery and is expected to return to training with the team under Hansi Flick in the near future.

Gavi suffered a serious injury, tearing his ACL and meniscus in his right knee while playing for Spain in November last year. It has been around 10 months and the 20-year-old midfielder is making a good recovery, but it is still unclear when he will be ready to return.

Gavi is reportedly training hard, coping well with the workload and has been training with a football since July, with the 20-year-old expected to return to action soon, although Barcelona have yet to give a timeframe on when Gavi will return to action.

Spanish media estimate that Barcelona will consider carefully based on Gavi’s recovery, and the club will give the player the green light to return to the field only when he is 100 percent fit, and it may have to wait until the end of this year.  ( vox888 )
