Travis Kelce, 35, has revealed the most important factor in his decision to return for a 13th season with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2025, NFL Network reports.  baconclub66

“I think the most important thing is that I love playing football,” Kelsey said. “I love playing. I still feel like I can play at a high level, and maybe even higher than I did last year. I don’t think that was my best performance. I think I let my teammates down more times than I helped them.”

‘Especially when you look at my performances and what I’ve been up to over the years, I want to play well. I feel bad about my performance last year and the performances I’ve played well and the responsibility I have for the people around me.’

‘I love the people in Kansas City, the place, the community, and this is my home now. I don’t want to leave that life now. I’ve worked very hard and I’ve dedicated myself to doing the best I can for K.C. Last year didn’t end well for us.’

‘I just felt like I had a responsibility to fulfill the contract that I signed in the first place, to give everything that I had to Kansas City and the Chiefs organization, and that’s what I’m going to do,’ 

Asked how much losing to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl 59 affected him, Kelce said, “That’s probably the biggest factor. I mean, it was a cool way to go out there, but I think I still love the game. I think I’d think about it more if we won.” 

‘At the end of that game, I feel like I owe it to them for making me come into that building with more effort and focus. I don’t know what happened in that game, but I wasn’t at my best. The more I watch clips or tapes, the more I feel like I’m going back in time.’ 

‘My dear Kansas City, we’re going to be back for at least one more year. I can’t say if this is my last year because I still love what I do for Kansas City and the Chiefs. I know I have a contract with this team and I’m going to give it my all.’ ( baconclub66 )
