Arsenal start talks with Gabriel over new contract hotfuns

The Gunners are keen to keep hold of their star players and the 26-year-old is thought to be one of them, but there is no immediate solution in terms of discussions.

The Brazil international has been a regular in Mikel Arteta’s side since joining the club in 2020.

Gabriel has made 172 appearances in all competitions for the Premier League giants, scoring 16 goals for the club.

The centre-back is currently contracted to the Emirates Stadium until 2027.

He has played every minute for Arsenal this season, most recently scoring the winner in Sunday’s 1-0 North London derby win at Spurs.
