“Lucas and (Aurelien) Tchouameni, we don’t know yet, but we will try to bring them back,” Ancelotti said when asked who would be at right-back against Liverpool.

“The reality is Fede is good at full-back, as is (Raul) Asensio, who plays with intensity and shows maturity.

“And Valverde, he’s a fantastic full-back (laughs). He’s the best right-back in the world after Dani Carvajal and Lucas Vazquez. The problem is he can play at this level no matter where he’s put himself. That’s the problem for the coach to choose the best position for him.
