Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has revealed he called Jude Bellingham but the 20-year-old midfielder did not pick up the phone, although the England international picked up the phone from Vinicius Junior minutes later, Mundo Deportivo reports on Monday. 

Ancelotti revealed he phoned Bellingham, who is on holiday after completing his duties with England at Euro 2024 and is due to report back to the club in the middle of the week, but the 20-year-old did not pick up the phone, although he did pick up a call from a team-mate a few minutes later. 

‘I was annoyed with him because he didn’t pick up the phone when I called him. I told Vinicius to call him and he picked up the phone immediately. He handed me the phone and I could talk to him,’ Ancelotti said with a smile. ( sunlit1688  )
