The 39-year-old coach sat down with ‘MU TV’ in an interview to discuss several issues, one of which was his intention to build a team in a long-term plan that requires patience and trust.

Most people think that we will have to wait for the likes of Kobbie Menu, Amad Diallo, Rasmus Hojlund or Leni Yoro to mature before we can challenge for the league title again since 2013.  ( thaisiambet )

But in Amorim’s eyes, he saw that they could do both at the same time, both in terms of polishing the young man to become an important force to chase after every success in front of him. 

“Yes, it is a long-term plan that requires patience and belief, but I am not saying we need a lot of time just because we are a young squad,” the Portuguese coach said. 

They were well prepared.”

“They are prepared to be called upon. When you are at Manchester United, they should have that attitude when they are here.”

“We know that this kind of thing takes time, and we try to shorten the time with the game. We have to start from day one without fear, without the idea that they are not used to playing this way.”  

“Those things must not be in their heads. They will start their first day with our ideas without any reservations. That is the goal.”  

It is interpreted that Amorim will definitely adjust to playing with 3 central defenders , with the people who will be most affected being pure playmakers like Bruno Fernandes or number 9.5 strikers like Joshua Zirkze.
