Sky Italia report that Adams will undergo a medical with Torino on Monday after arriving in Italy and is set to sign the deal as agreed. ( hotfuns )

Adams, who arrived at Caselle airport on Sunday night, told Sky Italia: “I’m ready for a new challenge. It’s going to be tough, but I’m happy.”

The Scotland international striker is a free agent after leaving Southampton on June 30 and although the Saints are keen to sign a new deal, the 28-year-old, who wants a new challenge abroad, has also been linked with a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Adams has made 33 appearances for Scotland, scoring six goals since 2021, including starting all three of their Euro 2024 group stage games, where they crashed out at the first round.
