The Northern Echo reports that Newcastle United are considering selling Trippier in the summer transfer window and the 33-year-old right-back is attracting serious interest from Saudi Arabian Professional League clubs. ( hotfuns  )

Trippier’s contract at St James’ Park is entering the final year and Newcastle have no plans to offer him a new deal, so a sale to the Saudi Arabian club would be a good option for the club.

Trippier had previously received an offer from Bayern Munich in January, the mid-season transfer window, but Newcastle rejected a bid of £12.8m as they wanted to keep the experienced right-back for the second half of the season.

However, the Magpies can now rely on Southampton right-back Tino Livramento for the long term and are therefore prepared to sell Trippier, one of the highest-paid players in the current squad.
